Real Flame Mantels are made from 100% solid hardwood. Many with hand carved details and unique designer finishes. The realistic fire log is made from concrete composite material designed to retain heat and the included lava rocks also retain heat and give the effect of burning coals.
The metal firebox is self-contained on all sides so that the heat is vented out the front for maximum warmth.
